Kaci Okabayashi & Gary Locke
Owners
Kaci was born in Houston, Texas and continues to station the company there. Her college major was Aviation Science, where she planned to become a pilot. After surviving Graves Disease and Heart Surgery she began a career in fashion starting Industrial Envy Photography . Kaci is currently in the process of writing a book, designing a line of cocktail dresses and a line of stemware.
Gary was born in Germany and continued to travel the world for the next 20 years. He served in the United States Marine Corp and continued to travel the country his 4 years in the service. He is the owner of Southern Apocalypse Photography, and  currently working with a new music venue in North Houston where he networks the business of entertainment. His goal in photography is to shoot live sports for the National Baseball, Football, and Basketball Leagues.
Southern Envy History
2005 - Kaci was a regional makeup artist for Estee Lauder, where she traveled with the company to teach Beauty Advisors and Store counters to improve productivity and artistry skills.
2007 - Kaci started Industrial Envy Photography where she started shooting her own makeup creations. After building a strong portfolio in extreme makeup and high fashion, she decided to go public with her company and bring her creative skills to the "every day" client.
2008 - This was a big year for Kaci. By this time she was featured in 3 major magazines, designed 40 album cover and shot over 300 clients since day one.
   This is also the year that Kaci met Gary. Gary based alot of his work on dark concepts and had lots of major clients in the underground fashion industry. One of his largest clients was a company called DareWare out of Houston, Texas where he was also featured in many magazines and recognized for his distinct "Tattooed Girls" and "Leather/ Latex" campaigns.
  Together the two joined forces to widen their clientele nolonger having one focal point.
2009
Jan-Mar: By the second week of the year, the two of them joined the team of a major motion picture.  With Gary having an extra supporting role, Kaci stayed on base doing the Special FX for the film.
April-June: Having built a foundation of business around models, they decided to throw a fashion show featuring all of their favorite past time female clients. Providing for the fashion show was, DareWare and Empire Leather Works. This opened many doors for the two. Now having coordinated a huge citywide event with major vendors and models, they were well on their way to new adventures.  
July-Sept: Gary and Kaci decided to start a program called the "Envy Girls". This was a portfolio package designed for girls who were trying to get into modeling. They offered an 8 hour training, a strong portfolio, and a support system to the client ensuring an easy transition into the filed.
Oct-Dec: Gary has taken on a music venue in North Houston called Texas Rock Tavern where he can market to bands and other artists. While Gary keeps his eyes on the prize, Kaci is taking it easy focusing on the birth of their first child together in April.
2010 - Looking ahead Gary and Kaci are planning on moving into the Bridal and Wedding industry.  Bringing abstract art and beauty to that field, they are sure to make a new trend in portraits and event photography.
